Articulate Storyline Course Development Example

I developed a series of modules in Articulate Storyline, creating a full training course for the European Youth Health Champions Project, working with the national sports charity organisation, StreetGames.

StreetGames work involves winning institutional support, building/sharing knowledge and using this knowledge to drive change to support young people living in disadvantaged areas.

The training course featured the following subjects:

  • Module 1: Role of a European Youth Health Champion
  • Module 2: How to be a European Youth Health Champion
  • Module 3: Interpersonal Skills
  • Module 4: Sources of Information
  • Module 5: How to look after yourself as a European Youth Health Champion
  • Module 6: Action plan and next steps

Services provided:

  • Consultation including structure / interaction suggestions, LMS setup support and recommendations
  • Working with an internal graphic designer, created a custom template/theme in Storyline, and built all modules from provided storyboards.
  • Created several unique custom interactions, and recommended solutions to match specific learning requirements and outputs

Background to the EYHC project:

The project focused on non-formal learning in peer health education that uses community sport and physical activity as the primary method of initial engagement with young people with fewer opportunities.  Created an innovative training and learning resource adaptable for different international settings that can be rolled out Europe-wide.

From the StreetGames website: “Funded by Erasmus+, this two year project (April 2017 – March 2019) has developed an online course to help young people become peer educators. Its ultimate goal is to increase the participation of disadvantaged young people (aged 13-30) in health-enhancing physical activity throughout Europe.”

Prototype info:

The following are some screenshots from the initial prototype I built, including interactive video and a variety of screen types and interactions.

This was a work in progress and doesn’t represent a complete product, but it is one I have permission to share.
