Partnered with a leading creative design studio to build a creative, mobile first learning solution that was part of an entire ecosystem of user experience, content and support for a new product launch in the pharmaceutical space.
Articulate Storyline Development Example
I developed a series of modules in Articulate Storyline, creating a full training course for the European Youth Health Champions Project, working with the national sports charity organisation, StreetGames.
Adapt Authoring Tool Setup / Design / Training
I installed the Adapt authoring tool on our company server, customised it by building a bespoke theme to match our brand guidelines, which involved editing the code (HTML / CSS / LESS) directly. Created a team of 8 course developers I trained to use “Adapt”, a free, open source authoring tool that, once setup, enables staff with limited e-learning development experience to create their own, fully responsive courses, which would work on any device.
Blended Learning Programme Design Example
Responsible for the design and delivery of a large blended learning programme. I created an accredited blended learning course, which formed the online component of a Level 1 Coaching Qualification. The course comprised of nearly 30 media-rich modules, with online activities, videos, infographics, audio narration, custom designed graphics and high quality photos covering core technical skills and “how to coach” skills.
LMS (Learning Management System) Review and Selection
During my time with a major UK distributor of workplace supplies, I was responsible for an LMS (Learning Management System) research and implementation project. The need was to source an appropriate LMS solution for the company, using a budget of £30k annually. I researched and reviewed over 50 LMS providers, evaluating them against my own selection criteria and then recommending a handful to complete the request for proposal (RFP) process. My final recommendations included several solutions that were significantly under budget but met all the required criteria.
Systems & Process Training Example
During my time at one of the UK’s “big six” energy suppliers, I was the training lead for the systems & process training for a major software implementation (known as BDEx) on our internal billing system (SAP). This project upgraded our SAP capability and performance across the business at a global scale, which in turn lead to significant customer service improvements. Delivered a blended learning programme consisting of online and ILT (instructor led training) content, which was delivered to an audience of over 1300 staff over 80+ sessions across the Midlands and overseas. A first for the company in blended delivery and online assessment, this course set new standards in training design and delivery.
SAP System migration example
During my time at one of the “big six” energy suppliers in the UK, I was responsible, as a Senior Trainer (L&D Consultant), for overseeing a SAP upskill / knowledge transfer between our sites in Leeds and the Midlands. My initial remit as project lead for the knowledge transfer, was to learn the new system at our site in Leeds, along with the large scale project approach / methodology being used, and the e-learning development methods, then transfer all this knowledge to several teams of trainers. This was to support a large scale system migration involving training thousands of staff over a short period.
